SHOWLINE

Motion design for real spaces.

Showline is the app our studio uses to make show content: AI scenes, typography, motion, a timeline, 3D previz and 4K render in one project file. For every job we configure it around the client's surfaces, brand and deadline.

01Pipeline

From the brief to the show day in one app.

Most show content passes through five tools and three handovers. In Showline the same project goes from a written brief to rendered 4K files, and it stays editable the whole way, including the night before the show.

01 · Brief

Story and surfaces

Paste the brief. Showline drafts a production plan, scene by scene, for the real screen sizes.

02 · Create

AI scenes

Backgrounds generated in context, with versions, references and an A/B compare.

03 · Design

Type and motion

Native text, grids, HUD and line grounds that move through the whole scene.

04 · Edit

Timeline and previz

Compositions, transitions and a preview on the actual stage, stand or facade.

05 · Deliver

Render and live edits

4K 50p masters from the queue, and an online room where late text changes still render.

02Product · every function

Every part of a show, editable.

Showline keeps text, gradients, grids and transitions as native objects. A new headline or colour is an edit on that object, so client revisions take minutes. The demos below run live in your browser, written in the same way the app draws.

2.1 · AI Create

A brief becomes a production plan.

Write or paste what the show needs to say. Showline splits it into scenes with timing, headlines and a visual direction per scene, then generates the first frames for the screen format you set.

  • InputBrief, brand guide, references
  • OutputScene plan, copy, art direction, first frames
  • ModelsGemini · Nano Banana image, MiniMax video
AI Create · New project

2.2 · Backgrounds

Generate, compare, keep every version.

Each scene keeps a history of its artwork. Compare two versions with the slider, restore any of them, or restyle the whole project at once and regenerate only the scenes you pick.

  • HistoryEvery version per scene, restorable
  • CompareA/B slider on the canvas
  • GlobalRestyle all, regenerate selected
Scene 04 · Background
2.3 · Type and motion

31 text animations. English and Arabic in one line.

Headlines stay live text on top of the picture. Each block gets an entrance, a hold that keeps breathing and an exit. Arabic is shaped and animated right to left, and mixed lines keep Latin words in place.

  • UnitsBlock, line, word, character
  • ScriptAuto, Latin, Arabic · LTR / RTL

Text · Digital decode
Easecubic-bezier(.16, 1, .3, 1)
2.4 · Design library

Procedural layers that never loop badly.

Grids, HUD frames, line grounds and spline particles are drawn by code at any resolution. They follow the project palette, sit under or over the type, and loop without a seam at 50 fps.

  • Line grounds50 systems, from Truchet to moiré
  • HUDBrackets, radar, data cards, 15 motions
  • GridsModular, blueprint, matrix, 14 motions
Library · Grounds, grids, HUD
2.5 · Transitions

Transitions shaped to the screen.

Tile sweeps, block mosaics, HUD scans and wavefronts are calculated on the real canvas size, so a 12-metre ribbon and a portrait totem each get a transition that fits their shape.

  • FamiliesBasic, grid, cube, noise, HUD, pulse
  • ControlDirection, module size, duration
  • PreviewReal time, before render
Transition · Digital tile sweep
2.6 · Timeline and compositions

One set of scenes, many cuts.

Compositions reuse the same scenes in a different order, length or format. A 30-second loop for the totem and a 4-minute opener for the main wall come from one project, and a text fix lands in both.

  • TracksVideo, text, transitions, audio
  • EditSplit, trim, drag, frame-accurate
  • SectionsGroup scenes, duplicate, reorder

2.7 · Project Agent

Ask in plain words. Get a typed edit.

The agent reads requests in English, Russian or Ukrainian, mixed in one sentence if you like, and turns them into exact commands on named scenes and layers. Destructive steps wait for Apply, every change lands in history, and text on a slide is never treated as an instruction.

2.8 · Any canvas

The canvas is the screen you will play on.

Set the real pixel map: 8:1 ribbons, 9:16 totems, 21:9 stages, 1:8 columns. Safe areas, guides and type scale follow the format, so every layout is composed for the wall it will play on.

2.9 · Installation preview

See it on site before it is on site.

Preview mode places each composition on a mockup of the space, warped to the real surfaces, with people for scale. Clients approve the view they will have from the floor.

2.10 · Render

Masters that media servers accept.

Queue whole compositions or single scenes. Showline renders HAP for media servers, ProRes 4444 with alpha for overlays and H.264 for review links, with names and folders that follow the project's rules.

033D, drawings and previz

The same app shows the room.

Recent projects pushed Showline past flat content. It now builds the set in 3D, draws the technical variants and previews projection on whole streets. Client names are left out here; the work is real.

3.1 · Stage in 3D

A broadcast set, built before the build.

A studio for an hour-long broadcast: S-wave side walls with LED where cameras actually look, a centre screen and a back wall with doors worked into the decor. The walls play the show content live inside the 3D model, so the client sees screen and set together from every camera.

● Side wall · elevation + plan

3.2 · Drawings

Five variants, one sheet.

Wall options are drawn as clean line elevations with LED zones, camera safe bands and dimensions. The client compares variants side by side, picks one, and the 3D model follows.

3.3 · Projection mapping previz

The whole street, with the crowd.

Every facade gets its mask and its content, the show runs on a real timeline, and cameras jump between the views the audience will have. Pixel maps and frames export per surface for the media servers.

04Edit and render online

Change it from anywhere. Render it there.

For each project we can publish a small Showline room on the web. The client edits speaker names or late text, duplicates a title per speaker and renders the files in their own browser. It runs in any modern browser, and the studio still controls the design. Try it below: the render button makes a real video file.

05Exhibition surfaces

Six screens, three moods, two colourways.

For a national health stand we designed every LED surface in Showline and shared it as an interactive room. The client switched between people, graphics and a quiet minimal mode in two colourways, on the real proportions of the stand, before a single file was rendered. Below is that room, rebuilt without the client's brand.

06Built per project

Set up for your show, run by the people who built it.

Showline is studio software. You get it together with the NAOS team that runs it: we load your surfaces, brand, languages and approval flow into a project build, add the tools the job needs, and keep editing with you until the show plays.

01

Surfaces and story

Pixel maps, venue drawings or photos, the brief and the brand book. We agree what has to move, where, and for how long.

02

A project build

Canvas formats, fonts, colours, text styles, languages and templates are set once, so every scene starts on brand.

03

Custom tools

When a job needs it we add a tool: a titles room, a 3D previz, a variant board or a playback controller.

04

Content in Showline

AI scenes, type and motion produced by our designers inside the build, versioned scene by scene.

05

Client room

Previews on the real space behind an access code. Comments, switches and late edits happen there.

06

Render and show

Masters for the media servers, delivery checks, and on-site edits when the venue changes its mind.

Titles and lower thirds

Speaker and sponsor titles edited and rendered by the client, 50p.

3D previz rooms

Stages, stands and facades in the browser, with cameras and content.

Variant boards

Moods, colourways and languages switched live during approval.

Show playback

Installation mode with hotkeys, preloading and synced displays.

07Where it works

Any surface with pixels on it.

Showline is a general tool for graphics in physical space. The project build changes; the engine stays the same.
